Heritage Park + Geocatching

This was a fun day of pictures and geocatching! I passed my this place while heading home from eating by the Tustin Market place. I wanted to location scout so when my brother Kevin and his girlfriend Lauren were up for taking pictures I loaded up my car with my boyfriend and child and headed over there. While we were looking around my boyfriend Nic decided to check if there was a near by geocatch. (for those of you who don't know what it is, it's kind of like a scavenger hunt but you sign a log inside the container and can get a small item if you leave one in return for the next person to find) We ending up finding a few and were searching around the whole park for the darn thing. With luck we found it before sunset! Here are the pictures from our adventure.

I kinda forced Lauren to model for me. Here was the first house we stopped at. I love the textured look of the wood.
Here was a rose that was hanging from this wire. I thought this was beautiful.
Beautiful trees around the library
Lauren posing in from of the front gates (the original ones from the 1800's!)Some candid shots of Kevin taking pictures of Lauren. My son has a small crush on Lauren :)My little ham! Always posing for me.and finally.... after a long search we found the geocatch! I think this is a start of a new addiction!

Ameet and Pooja Wedding

I sometimes shoot for Bliss imagery whenever they need a photographer. This wedding was booked courtesy through Bliss. The wedding was the traditional Indian wedding. It was full of festivities and colors. This was such a fun wedding to shoot. You can tell how much this couple got along and obviously see how much love ...came from the couple and their family. I hope you guys the best and that you both have a long and happy marriage!

The first portion was a very traditional Indian wedding, her dress was just so stunning..

The detail in her henna was just amazing.

This shot was when her uncles and her family were helping her put on her bangles.

This shot was when the groom and his family met up with the brides family. It was a traditional thing they did.

Here is Ameet coming in on a horse. How awesome is having a horse at the ceremony?

This is a shot after the bride's family and the groom's family meets, they were praying before going into the temple.

These shots are of the bride and groom during the ceremony. They were both holding onto the fabric.

This was taken after the ceremony. They both put this necklace around each others neck. The family members lifted both of them up so it was harder to put it around the others neck. It was really cute.

Exchanging of rings after the ceremony.

The beautiful couple in their traditional wear.

The reception was help at the old country club in Seal Beach, CA.

The orchids and lilies were just beautiful and matched the lighting perfectly.

The beautiful cake!

Pooja changed into this gown for the reception. Isn;t she just beautiful?

And a few shots of the bride and groom :)

Citrus Park

Today was a fun Sunday afternoon. We all took a trip to the park today to wander around, take some pictures (Nic just got the new Canon T1i camera and I was showing him to to use it) and attempted a failed geocach. We went to Citrus park in Tustin, which is such a beautiful place! I am absolutely coming back to this place. Attached are the pictures that I took followed by some taken by my boyfriend.

I absolutely love this picture of my son and my boyfriend playing on the swings.

My son with his flower and his lemons!

This flower seemed to be passed around..

When we attempted to find "treasure" while geocaching.

Here are the images Nic took. I edited them though, I still need to teach him all I know about editing since that tends to take a little longer to explain :)

Here is a shot of me he took that I liked.

I ADORE this photo of David SO much.

These have gotta be one of my favorite pictures of me and my son!

Jenn & Jason Engagement Shoot

Jenn and Jason were such a fun couple to photograph! Jason is in the Army and is going to deploy soon to Afghanistan. I have a soft spot for military since my boyfriend is in the Marine Corps. You can just see how much this couple loved each other. I am so lucky they chose me to take their picture! We shot at the Lab and The Camp in Costa Mesa. The backdrop and colors of the place were just plain awesome. It totally matched their personalities since they wanted something different.

I love the lighting on these pictures! I am in love with the sunlight photos.

I kinda felt like a peeping tom but I think the pictures came out great :)

These shots were taken over at The Camp

ok, how cute are her shoes?!

These were taken over at the Lab

This wall was just beautiful!
