Rebecca and Stephen Wedding- Sneak Peak

I met this couple because the groom is my very good friend's brother. They are very easy going and they were so fun to shoot! The wedding was held at the Pasadena Art Museum. There was a lot of DIY elements at this wedding and it was just so darn cute! I will post more on this wedding later, as for now here are sneak peaks!

Omar and Esmihan Engagement shoot- The Lab

This was also shot through Bliss. They were both from new york and wanted more of a urban vibe so what better place to shoo than the Lab and the Camp in Costa Mesa? It had the graffiti art they were looking for and it was clean and not full of crime! Omar and Esmihan was a great couple to shoot, they had a lot of energy and was full of fun! They had their wedding in Orange County because Omar was originally from here and his family still reside in Orange County. Here are the pictures! Enjoy!

We first started on the painted wooden wall
The under the beautiful archway they have there
Then right outside this store, it's not that weird since we saw a few other people shooting at the lab.
Then we moved onto the Camp that is right across the street.
I love these stairs!

Haha he actually pulled her down!We found little places to shoot through out the Camp.
I love how fun this shot is!

Her eyes are beautiful aren't they?

Young and Chung's engagement shoot

This was shot through Bliss. I free lance for them a lot. Funny thing is Chung booked me for makeup and Johnny over at Bliss contacted me to shoot their engagement! We had a little laugh about the incident. We shot in Orange in a field and a little park where there was some lemon trees! I had my engagement shoot here and Young and Chung loved the pictures so I brought them back to the same place.

Hair: Nancy Nguyen
Makeup: Anha Nguyen

We started in this open field. Young and Chung came from their engagement party where she was dressed in a traditional dress called an Ao Dai.
Then they switched over to more of a formal wear.

We then moved locations with the lemon trees! The still stayed in their formal wear.

Then they changed into something a little bit more casual and we had a mini picnic! Well minus the food haha, just for looks people!

I love shots of the feet!some fake picnic shots ;)
and a shot of them holding lemons!

Balboa Beach Engagement Session

This was booked through Don Le Studios. He's a good friend of mine and did a groupon and has been overwhelmed with customers so I've been helping him out with a few shoots here and there.

This couple was just beautiful! They were so fun to shoot and you just couldn't take a bad picture of them! They flew in from Salt Lake City for vacation and decided to do their engagement session in Orange County. I bet their wedding will be just stunning! Best wishes to you two and may your happily ever after come true.

we first started under the pier

Then we made our way onto the pier and found this awesome "prop"
More shots of them on the pier, man it was so easy to take pictures of them!
The decided to goof off a little and he gave her a piggy back ride.. then she decided to give him one haha.
The we made our way over the the fun zone. We found this awesome yellow wall
They decided to share some ice cream, way too cute
And when there are rides, why not right?
Right outside the arcade, the yellow on the curb got my attention
and lastly this was by a pizza place on our way to the car!
Sooo many great places to shoot at the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach, California!

Perez/Nguyen Wedding

This couple was such a great couple to work with! It was great seeing two cultures collide in this wedding. You saw a lot of the Vietnamese influences and the Mexican influences. Their wedding was beautiful and simple. The ceremony was a small catholic ceremony in Westminster, California and the Reception was done at Royal restaurant in Westminster also. Royal is a nicer banquet/restaurant venue I've seen in the Westminster area.

Ken was my second shooter. These shots are a mixture of both our shots. He is usually my right hand man when shooting weddings.

Hair: Gwen Tran
Makeup: Anha Nguyen
Second Shooter: Ken Pfeifer

Lets start with the smaller details.. Here is the beautiful dress which, i thought, matched her flowers and personality perfectly! Ken shot the details since I was busy doing her makeup. Thank goodness for second shooters huh?

Here is where you see a little bit of the Vietnamese influences in the wedding. The Bride and groom walk around and greet each table wearing the traditional wear called an Ao Dai. At the reception most usuallt wear the western outfits (wedding dress and suit) and then change into the Vietnamese outfits.

The Brides uncles played the guitar and saxophone while they did the cake cutting. I love her uncles pose while playing!

Right after they cut the cake I was surprised when they didn't smash the cake in each others faces but when seeing him try to put a little cake on her nose and seeing her face, I no understood why they didn't haha.
